“After perhaps an hour of learning patterns, relearning patterns and retrying, I was able to knock off that last achievement in Blue Dragon - the "Perfect Moon Laser" one. All done with this one.”

“A fairly linear lighthearted fantasy RPG. The villain is identified and known right from the start, and the game is more about the journey to get there. Decent cinematics, plenty of equipment/skill combos to play with and pretty good level design....”

“Completed story mode. Ran around for a bit before hand double checking that I had all the various items I needed, making sure I had taken out one of every monster, etc - didn't want to miss the "Monster Record" or "Item Record"...”

“More level grinding. Almost have all the Shadows classes maxed out, and have the character levels almost maxed as well. Once that's cleared out, it's time to plunge back into the story and see this tale to it's conclusion...”

A fairly linear lighthearted fantasy RPG. The villain is identified and known right from the start, and the game is more about the journey to get there. Decent cinematics, plenty of equipment/skill combos to play with and pretty good level design. The mini-games are partly luck, partly button mashing, but not super obtrusive. The achievement design is weighted towards leveling your characters and collecting stuff/beating monsters, which if done prior to the final battle(s) can deflate the finish of the game a bit, as you'll too overpowered for it to be a challenge. The game needed more side-quests or optional areas. Expect to invest a lot of time if you carefully play to complete all the achievements, though if you're just going through for the story, you could probably do it it 1/3 the time or less.
